Do you have a minimum?

We appreciate your off premise catering order for groups of 25 guests or larger. We can accommodate smaller groups through our cafes (Waterworks Café, Unity Café and Bayona Café).

Reservations for our Riverside Room or café event spaces have different requirements. Please inquire with our business office.

Do you have a liquor license?

We carry a full liquor license with the State of NH, and offer a variety of bar styles to fit your needs.

How long has Tidewater Catering been in operation?

We began operating in 2003, and are still in the same location.

Do you have a restaurant?

Tidewater Companies proudly operates three retails cafés in Manchester brought together by the same quality , innovativeness, and hospitality we are known for. Visit us at Waterworks Café (waterworkscafe.com), Bayona Café (bayoncafe.com) , and Unity Café (unitycafe.com).

Do I get to keep the left overs?

Any food that remains on the buffet table at the end of your event may be taken home by the client. We are not responsible for the perishability of the food after that point.

What is your payment policy?

Your business/personal terms set up with Tidewater as well as the size/scope of your event will dictate your required deposit and payment terms. Each event order proposal will outline these requirements for your specific event.

How far do you travel?

Our availability and travel distance is typically dictated by the size and scope of the event.

In most cases, travel within a 60 mile radius is viable, however we review each situation individually.

Where do you Cater?

We cater events in public and private locale, from state parks and private homes to corporate offices and banquet halls. We try to accommodate as many different locations as possible throughout the Greater New Hampshire area. Please give us a call if you have questions about a specific venue.

How many staff will be assigned to my event?

The number of service staff, bartenders and culinarians is a result of many factors, some of which include: service style requested, number of guests, layout of event, cooking environment and special requests.

Can I hire just your staff without ordering food?

We do not outsource our culinary, service or bartending staff singularly.

When is my final count due?

Final guest count and menu selections are typically due five business days prior to your event date. However, this may be altered, depending on the size, scope and menu of your event (ie: wedding reception) and will be indicated on your event order proposal.

Can you provide china service and linens?

Tidewater excels at full catering service. We are able to provide all the necessary china, glass, silver, table, chair and linen needs for your event. Additionally, we are capable of providing other rental needs including dance floors, coatracks, red carpets and pipe/drape.

We are also able to provide high quality disposable plateware, cutlery and napkins should that be preferred for your event.

How much notice do you need for catering?

Advance notice of 3 business days for small events is appreciated, although we cannot guarantee our availability. Most events require planning of more than seven business days.

What is your deposit policy?

We create each deposit policy on a case by case basis depending on the size and scope of your event. We will clearly explain the amount and date a deposit is due for your event. It should be noted, however, that we only accept cash or check for a deposit.

What is your credit card policy?

We accept credit payments for all events (except weddings). Please note that a 3% processing fee will be added to your final invoice amount.

Do you have a preferred vendors?

Please contact us directly for our preferred vendors as they change seasonally and vary by location.
